Staffing Match are proud to be working in partnership with one of the well-established Engineering Firms based in Northampton, who are looking for MIG Welders to join their team.
About the role:
- VARIOUS SHIFT PATTERNS AVAILABLE
- PAY RATES BETWEEN £9.50 - £15.00 (depending upon experience)
- SECURE ONGOING POSITIONS WITH PERMANENT OPPORTUNITIES
Your responsibilities:
- Working with steel assemblies
- Welding and finishing off parts in a production environment
- Reading engineering drawings in order to fabricate the required parts
- Carry out quality control checks
- Ensuring correct quantities are produced
Requirements for the role:
- Experience with grinding, DA and surface preparation of components
- Coded Mig Welding experience with Mild Stainless steel up to 15mm
- Strong working knowledge of Fabrication and Mig Welding
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work unsupervised
